"I met Doug socially and took him up on his offer to "come in and ride one of our bikes for a couple of days to see how you like it". At the time my wife and myself both had Harleys (2004 fatboy and 1992 heritage).
Well I chose the 2009 road glide and I was so blown away by the handling, the ride and the looks of it that the guys at woodstock started calling me after five days to find out if I was ever going to bring thier bike back.
It took a while to work out the deal (since I had no intention of buying a new bike when I went in for the test ride) but I am the extremely happy owner of a 2010 road glide. Every time I get off that bike I have a big grin on my face and I can't wait to get back on it.
Woodstock has incredible people working there. Garrett, Steve and Tim have made my buying and service experience very pleasent and enjoyable.
Please keep in mind that I live 1/4 mile from my local Harley dealer. What seperates woodstock from all other dealers is the professional, cheerful genuinely "happy to work here" feeling you get as soon as you walk in the door. This feeling is only strengthened as you deal with the people.
I know this professional cheerful demeanor is reflected down from the captain of the ship Doug Jackson (and Cricket). For a long time biker to travel an hour from home when there is a dealer 5 minutes away speaks not only to the descriminating taste of Harley riders but even more so to the outstanding dealership that is Woodstock Harley.

"I was shopping for a new bike in 2009 and visited the dealerships closest to me. On advise from a friend I traveled out to the Woodstock Dealership before I made a final decision. They listened to me, asked appropriate questions, and then worked with me to create the perfect bike for me. 13 months and 11K miles later I can say taking the trip to Woodstock was well worth my time.

"After the exceptional training I recieved from Robert Shelton, one of the instructors from the Riders Program I felt I needed to make a statement. WOW. What a true gentleman,experienced rider and great instructor. After over 40 years of my riding habits, within a half hour he had broken more habits than I knew I had. "After shopping around at several dealers I purchased my FLHTCU from Woodstock HD even though there are 3 HD dealers much closer to me. The reason was the personal attention I got from Doug the GM. He and his entire staff took a personal interest in my experience and brought things to my attention no other dealer seemed to care about .
My wife (who was completely anti-motorcycle in the begining)was so comfortable with this dealer, she took their riding course and for her aniversary she got a Brand new Heritage Softail Classic! The crew at Woodstock even decorated it and suprised her with a little party! Talk about personal attention!!
I have purchased 4 bikes from them so far and will go to noone else but Doug and his crew from now on!

"I came into the store with a friend of mine to look at some boots and maybe get a few T-shirts for our husbands. Shortly after entering the building we were welcomed by Shelly, who seemed eagar to help us find our way around the dealership. She started by introducing herself and asking if there was anything she could do for us. We told her we were just wanting to look at boots, and instead of just pointing or explaining where they were located she walked us over to the clothing department and introduced us to Alicia. Alicia was full of energy and enthusiasm. After skipping to find us the boots We needed she overheard My girlfriend and I discussing my problem with my perscription glasses, She informed me of a few different options, and explained the benefits of all of them. Not once did I feel pressured into purchasing anything, but Alicia seemed so knowledgeable my girlfriend bought a pair of the Ugly Fish sunglasses. After researching a little more and speaking to my eye doctor I plan to return very soon to pick myself up a pair for myself. "What made me a customer was not a motorcycle purchase, I bought my bike from another dealer about 50 miles away. I was looking at used bikes and pretty much had to go to the dealer that had the bike I wanted. I stopped in on a busy Sunday after I noticed my gear shift arm was coming loose and I didnt have any tools w/ me. I fully expected to have to make an appointment for service, but was impressed and pleasantly suprised when the service writer sent a tech out to the parking lot to fix the problem on the spot. They didnt even ask me for my name let alone if I had purchased the bike from them. Needless to say this small act showed me this dealership will go the extra mile for a customer. "I'd have to be mad at my money to purchase a bike from a shop other than Woodstock Harley Davidson. I'd have to be mad at my bike to let someone else work on it. I purchased a 2008 Ultra Classic brand new with 8 miles on it and have since put 50,000 miles on it in 2 seasons - 30,000 in 2008 and 20,000 in 2009. I will run this bike to 150,000 without blink'n. All other dealers can only hope to equal the way that this dealer supports their customers in service, parts and accessories and clothing. " A day at the races.
My son and i were going to the Fathers day hill limb on a sunday morning. I was pulling a trailer behind my 91 ultra classic and got past Wonderlake road and dumped the clutch at the light and i got that old familiar feeling! The rear belt broke! we coasted as fare as i could and sure enough i was right, the belt was hanging and we were stuck!
A few riders stopped and the last one was on his way to work at Woodstock Harley and he said he would come back with a truck and trailer! The bike and my trailer both fit in his trailer and we were off to the shop, and being sunday no Tech on duty
It being Fathers day, the shop had a one day free rental for consulation, bags or no bags? i said bags! i took it and let them service my motor and my son and i still made the hill climb over in Polo! I let all my bros know about it, they all came a looked at the new bike and told them Woodstock did me good!
That was one verry cool fathers day! i kept the bike for a few days while they serviced my belt. 11/27/2009"

Brad took time to answer Alicia's questions about the used Heritage Softail she purchased, and his professionalism was evident.
