"After 5 years of saying I wanted to learn to ride, I finally completed one of those weekend warrior Learn to RIde classes and earned my License. I always new I wanted a Harley, but I shopped around to get an idea of the prices on different types of bikes. After experiencing less than enthusiastic service, (I guess I did not look serious), I stopped in to Woodstock Harley and immediatley felt overwhelmed by the selection. Fortunately I met Dan Jones, and he took me through the basics; showed me the service operation there; gave me the grand tour and showed extreme professionalism, patience and enthusiasm as he educated me on what was to be the 3rd largest purchase I have ever made. I don't mind spending the money on quality, service, professionalism and appreciation for my business which is exactly what I found at Woodstock Harley from Dan and the whole team. Jeff helped me through the financing options and additional services with a definite "How can I help this guy" attitude as opposed to the "how can I get more money from this guy" approach I usually experience with this sort of purchase. I ended up with a 2010 FLHX Street Glide which I absolutely love. There is no buyer's remorse because I felt I received top notch advise from Dan without the pressure and with excellent follow up after my visits and I have a high comfort level with the complete team at Woodstock Harley. "well ive been riding metric bikes since i was 13 and till reciently riding a harley was only a dream becouse of reliabilty issues. but in last 5 years harley has come to terms with technoligy and has become reliable enough to earn my respect so i did what i only dreamed about a bought a 2011 flhtk and Dan there at woodstock harley said if i rode there i would ride home on a harley well at 30 degrees i rode there and am happy i did i will be back there in the summer on my new ride thanks so much for making a dream come true"

"I have always wanted to ride so I did what alot of people do, went to the community college 2 1/2 day training. They crammed so much into such little time, you hardly had time to breathe much less practice anything that they "tried" to teach you. Plus I was told if you drop the bike your done. They did not make me feel like I had the skills, much less the confidence to ride. Then a friend told me about Woodstock Harley Rider Program. I signed up and went through the 5 days of training. Talk about eye opening! The instructors give you one on one attention, you have time to pratice and if you drop the bike, its a learning experience not a cause to be dropped from the class. In fact thats the first thing they teach you is how to pick up a bike. I learned cornering, U turns, weaving, figure eights, off set weaving and obstacle swerve. I learned how to ride on grass, potholes, gravel and even rode over a 4 x 4 board! This course has made me a confident, safe rider, and not to mention I have riding skills that most riders learn with years of riding! The riders course is worth every penny if not more!Thanks so much to Woodstock HD and my instructors for a great experience!"

"I have not purchased a motorcycle from Woodstock Harley, but had a better than average experience...
A group of co-workers and I ride as often as possible. Unfortunately, our professional and personal lives tend to make scheduling rides together very difficult. This past Sunday (8/21/11), we were all available for the AAIM charity ride that started and ended at Woodstock Harley. As we arrived to the event at 9 am, one of our group had a flat rear tire on his Honda. The service department was willing to replace the tire, but did not have the correct size in stock. We thought our day of riding was ruined. The Sales Manager came up with a solution. He allowed my co-worker the use of one of his demo Harleys (FREE of charge) until the rear tire could be replaced. What other dealership would allow someone to take a demo bike to allow us to have a great day! I also enjoyed it enough to consider the bike as a purchase! What a concept!"

"I personally visited Woodstock Harley Davidson at least 5 times in the past looking for Motor Clothes, and accessories for my 1996 1200C Sportie. Every visit I made was a pleasure. Loved to look at the new models on the floor. Talking with the employees there was a always a pleasure. At that time I would never have dreamed that I would buying a new 2012 HD Hereitage Softail Classic.
Well, almost two years ago, I got married to the woman of my dreams. We are both engineers and liked to do the same things together. Then I found out that she liked Motorcycling. Well, that did it. Soon we were thinking of upgrading from the small Sportie to something that was more comfortable for the passenger. We visited several local Harley dealers and they just didn't hit it for us. I told the wife that we should go and visit Woodstock HD. Well, that it! We were treated in the best of ways. All the employees that my wife and I had contact with were friendly and very professional. "Lumpy" was the greatest salesman I have ever delt with. He helped us with all the questions we could shoot at him, he came up with the answers. Tim Y provided the best in Fit and comfort for our new HD. We never thought we would be the proud owners of the 2012 Softail. The first time I rode the bike, we both fell in love with the way it rode. Smooth, comfortable and fast when I needed it. But the best thing that came out of all this was having new friends. The Woodstock HD family

"It's hard to imagine that just a few weeks ago I had never even sat on a Harley much less ridden one. Thanks to the team at Woodstock Harley Davidson, today I have my Class M license and are the proud owner of a terrific Chopper Blue Road Glide. After walking into the showroom several weeks ago and in awe of the inventory alone, John Bauer took the time to answer my battery of questions and suggested the Riding Classes that were offered. Though I live a good 45 minutes from the dealership, I didn't hesitate to enroll in the next available class. It was one of the best investments that I've ever made.
After completing the intensive 5-day class, I can honestly say that I could never have imagined the skills that I would develop in such a short time. After some practice, doing an 18' u-turn on a Road King is second nature and a tight figure 8 is just as easy. Whether you're an experienced rider or a beginner like me, the control you learn and habits you develop are worth 10 times the price of the class. Thank you John. It all started with you.
I can't end out thanking the instructors: Tim, Jeff, Robert, Roger and the rest were absolutely the best. I'll see you in spring for the Intermediate Class.
In summary, at 50+ years old, this has been one of the best overall experiences in my life. Anyone out there riding should take this course and everyone looking to buy or service their bike should go to Woodstock Harley Davidson. It's worth the trip. You won't be disappointed. Thank you.

"Never thought I would own a Harley.It all started because my daughter wanted me to spend some time together. she asked me go on the Tiger run.So while I was waiting for the run to start I was killing time looking at the bikes,when I saw the bike (fatboy lo denim black)Started Talking with John in sales,Told me all about bike.WE exchanged numbers.A few days later john called to say Hi and ask how things were, never bugged me about the bike.A few days went by I called and ask what kind of trade we could work out at which time I Learned the bike was gone,But john said he had a 2012 same bike minus afew things as the other one.I went to 3 different harley dealers to find the 2011 fatboy but all I got was attitude on the trade in bike.Went to woodstock last.Let me tell you the pepole at woodstock went way out of their way,made me feel right at home and gave me what I thought was an awesome deal on my trade & New bike.I have told all my friends how much I enjoyed my experience.all my life I have been riding motorcycles this bike by far is the best ride ever.It would have never happened if john had not worked so hard

"I wanted to get a new bike and I only had my L license, so I signed up for their training class, I attended one day and had to cancel the rest of the class for work related reasons... the subsequent week's class was full, and all other classes in the area were full also, so I didn't know what to do, I then spoke to Doug the general manager about my dilemma and he offered an incredible solution, to have his staff and himself personally train me so I could get my M license.
Then salesman and instructor Ken Weinstein set me up with several bikes to practice with and instructed me for several days while practicing at their facility. Then when it was time for my test, Doug the general manager himself drove me to the nearby DMV to take my riding test, unbelievable, I passed the test and got my M license!
I then purchased a brand new 2012 bike, Ken and the performance and parts specialist Tim Yarbo helped every step of the way, The insurance procurement, financing, and title processing also went like clockwork. I also purchased all of my riding gear from them and it was an excellent experience. Everything was well organized and in stock, and Emily the sales person was very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.
I have never seen or experienced a better dealership or store for anything ever in my entire life, these guys will do absolutely anything for their customers, no wonder they have the reputation that they so deserve for being the best Harley dealer in the Midwest."

"IN JUNE I BOUGHT A USED 99 ELECTRA GLIDE CLASSIC. 5 WEEKS LATER IT DROPPED A VALVE AND STARTED RUNNING TERRIBLE. I CALLED SERVICE AND THEY CAME AND PICKED UP MY BIKE. "I wanted to mention the very positive experience I had with Woodstock H-D just recently. On a big ride this part weekend, my bike broke down. Ken, a mechanic with you, who was on the ride on his day off enjoying himself on his own time, took the time to take a look at my bike and advise me as to what to do. The advice was to not ride it any further. Jim Bator was also on the ride, on his day off. He called the shop for me and spoke to Garret, who told hiim he could go and get the trailer to bring my bike in, which he did. So Jim missed the rest of the ride to help me out. When we got my bike back to Woodstock HD, Garret looked at it personally, and then arranged with Sam for me to get a loaner.
I was very impressed by the helpfulness and dedication everyone had, especially as this all occurred later in the day on a Sunday.
Also, I was impressed to find Doug, the GM, moving bikes around and taking care Woodstock HD takes care of things so well- they have a good example!
Thanks to Garret, Ken and Jim, for making what could have been a disatrous experience into one with good memories!

"Went with my son so he could purchase a bike, I bought one too. The salesmen Nick, Charlie in finance, Tim in accessories, and then the service dept. are all top notch. Doug knows me and greets me along with the rest of the staff and they treat you like family. When they say "If you have problem come see us, we'll make it right" that is exactly what they mean and they stand by it.
I would recommend to anyone even thinking of buying a bike they buy from Woodstock Harley the staff is above board, go out of their way make sure your happy and the Customer Service after the sale is outstanding. They know you and its not well we made the sale don't need them anymore. "My wife and I came in looking for a new jacket, we ended up leaving with a 2010 Ultra Classic! Mike "Lumpy' Cannon was a great help! Even though we wern't serious about buying a new bike he allowed us to test ride several bikes, and answered all our questions about the different models. After the test rides we knew the Ultra would be our next bike, but figured it would be a year or two down the road before we made a purchase. Mike and the Staff was able put together a deal that made us comfortable, and we rode out on our new bike that day! I found out talking to the California Sidecar Rep in Sturgis, SD that Woodstock had become a dealer for there Conversion Kits (Turning my Street Glide into a Trike). They had answers for all of my questions,, and then there is the Service department and "Nick" the tech that converted my bike to Trike. He does the work like it is his own. "Well, Return (my mule), uh, returned to our barn yesterday; and we renewed our vows.
She's running better than ever; and, dang, I missed her sound, smell, and, uh, uh, uh...that sounds kinda sick.
I may have to get some electric gloves; 'cause Rainmakers MC ain't bound by the weather!
Anyway, I learned a lot during my "Limited" engagement/flirtation with a new 2011 limited loaner bike; and I will be better equipped to chat with folks when they're in the market.

"I live in Ohio and my son lives in Illinois. I own a 1999 custom Softail and whenever we visit I always stop by Woodstock Harley. Everyone has always been very friendly and helpful.
Recently, I considered purchasing another bike and began looking at dealships here in Ohio and several other states. I also researched the internet and looking at the Woodstock website, an Ultra caught my eye. I decided to make the trip and am glad I did. The Ultra was just what I was looking for and Charlie was very fair in the negotation process Next we completed the finiancing with Jeff and he was great! Very friendly and even allowed our granddaughter to decorate his office with popcorn (she is 3). After all the paperwork was completed, Nick went over some of the "finer points" and suggestions for my new ride and assured me I could contact him at anytime with questions.
What a super group of people! The entire experience could not have been more pleasant. Every aspect of our experience was outstanding. I truely enjoyed your staff and look forward to stopping in whenever we come to visit.

"After reaearching the internet I had found Woodstock Harley but was a bit leary because it was a 2 hour drive. After talking to Ken Weinstein, my sales associate, I took a ride with the anticipation of trading in my 2008 fatboy for a 2007 streetglide, that I had seen on the website. When I first saw the streetglide I was a bit disappointed in its appearance, it had some swirl marks and some minor scratches in the paint. At this point I did not think a deal could be made because I am very "anal" about my belongings and their appearance and I felt that the fatboy was too clean to trade in for the streetglide. Immediately Ken had introduced me to Randy in the service department that handles all of their finishing work on the bikes. Randy basically proved to me after very little time that the streetglide would look as if it was brand new. A deal was made that day and upon delivery of the bike I could not be happier with the job that Randy had done for me. Thank you to Randy, Ken and Woodstock Harley. "At first we were there to look and then Mike Cannon put me on the bike i was interested in for a test drive.this was before any numbers or paperwork done. he wanted to make sure i was getting what i wanted/looking for. He took the jacket off his back and gave it to me for the test drive sine it was only 34 degrees. After i came back he stuck thur all paperwork and never pawned us off on anybody else. he was right by our side for eveything. He went out of his way to help us with parts to make sure we got a good deal,even when we got the parts installed he was by our side. roger the mechanic was very informative and did an excellent job. "I just want to say that this dealership (under new management for some years back now) has had to overcome some awful old owner bad reputation. Woodstock HD is now a great place to deal with, in its sales dept. (Charlie), Service dept. (Steve), Parts dept. (Moon), Motorcloths dept. (all the girls), Special services chrome assorcies (Tim)... GM Doug, Been a rider long before it was so popular and its nice to go to a place where everyone knows your name when you arrive, and get treated like a person not a number...

"We wanted to write this so everyone would know how great Woodstock Harley is.
We went in to the store to do some Christmas shopping an ended up buying a Harley.
From the moment we entered the store we were greeted by several different people, which was nice considering that does not happen alot at other stores. Mike in sales greeted us and showed us the new 2011's on the floor.
We sure did fall in love with that Ultra Classic. He introduced us to Jeff in financing and off we went. These guys worked with us, this was a painless process. No pressure sales.... Jeff worked on getting us the best deal with all the added benefits that fit what we wanted. This was a deal that i felt was seamless these guys just wanted to see us get what we want and then all go riding together!
During this process we were taken thru the garage introduced to some more associates and everyone was so friendly. It truly felt like we were apart of the family. That's ironic because when the deal was done... they said welcome to the family.
We then met Tim Y who helped us get all the Chrome a girl could dream of. What a great guy. Yet another department and everything and everyone was so nice.

"I recommend the rider program to anyone who is going to ride. I had not driven a large displacement bike in 25 years and was using the class to see if I had the skills to pick this up again. "I have been buying cars and motorcycles for over 26 years since I was 16 years old. I have never ever had a more pleasant experience. Ken Weinstein, in sales, kept me informed throughout the entire process and still calls occasionally to see how my bike is doing. I had a mirror problem and Ken and Dave Topp in service were true customer service professionals. No one told me nothing could be done, they only asked what could be done to make me, the customer, happy. I really can't convey my feelings of happiness at the whole experience. " If you had told me 4 years ago that I would be riding a motorcycle today, I would have told you that you were nuts. My sons were riding "crotch rockets", and I didn't like it, but they were adults. I wasn't sure if I wanted my hubby riding one either, but he seemed really excited when we almost bought a used Ultra in Oct. '06. We weren't getting any younger, so I surprised him on Dec. 23, 2006 with an '07 Ultra that Woodstock Harley delivered to our front door! He was truly surprised and a little shocked, I think. (He kept checking to see if it was still in the garage.) Thanks, Charley Madsen for making that happen!
Well, we had to have the right boots and motorclothes, and
everytime we stopped into the dealership, Charley would greet us (Shelley, too) and ask when I was going to "get one". I was content to just ride "two-up"...until I started to notice how many other women were riding their own.
Last June, I bought a nearly new Yamaha 250 and signed up for the Woodstock Harley Rider's School. I was nervous, but not for long when the instructors put us on the bikes and taught us from the very first moment how to control the machine with "tork", and explained everything. I was the eldest in the class and one of only two women out of eight participants ranging in age from 19-52. One of the first things we learned was how to "pick up" a 750 lb motorcycle---it was easy once we learned the proper technique. We learned each skill one step at a time, in a natural progression. The instructors taught us the next, when we were ready. Every person in the class was respectful to each other and supportive if someone was having trouble with a skill. The instructors were patient and showed us how to handle many things one may encounter on a "bike" including panic stopping and evasive maneuvering on a curve with someone right behind you, blaring a horn, as well as, riding over a 4" x 4" post that "fell off a truck".
Special thanks to Mike and Reg, Robert, Scott and Tim for sharing their knowledge and skills with us in this course with passion and professionalism. I understand that Doug was responsible for fantastic course!The confidence I gained was exactly what I needed to enjoy my new skill.
As you can guess, I passed the riding test and got my "M" license within a week of the class. On Aug. 22, 2009, I "traded up" and rode away from the dealership on a new '09 Sportster XL1200L. Within 10 months, I had put 2,300 miles on it and was ready for another "trade up".
I just had the 1,000 mile service done on my dream ride...my 2010 Street Glide. Many thanks to Charley, Tim, and the whole service team for fitting it properly.

"I met Doug socially and took him up on his offer to "come in and ride one of our bikes for a couple of days to see how you like it". At the time my wife and myself both had Harleys (2004 fatboy and 1992 heritage).
Well I chose the 2009 road glide and I was so blown away by the handling, the ride and the looks of it that the guys at woodstock started calling me after five days to find out if I was ever going to bring thier bike back.
It took a while to work out the deal (since I had no intention of buying a new bike when I went in for the test ride) but I am the extremely happy owner of a 2010 road glide. Every time I get off that bike I have a big grin on my face and I can't wait to get back on it.
Woodstock has incredible people working there. Garrett, Steve and Tim have made my buying and service experience very pleasent and enjoyable.
Please keep in mind that I live 1/4 mile from my local Harley dealer. What seperates woodstock from all other dealers is the professional, cheerful genuinely "happy to work here" feeling you get as soon as you walk in the door. This feeling is only strengthened as you deal with the people.
I know this professional cheerful demeanor is reflected down from the captain of the ship Doug Jackson (and Cricket). For a long time biker to travel an hour from home when there is a dealer 5 minutes away speaks not only to the descriminating taste of Harley riders but even more so to the outstanding dealership that is Woodstock Harley.

"I came into the store with a friend of mine to look at some boots and maybe get a few T-shirts for our husbands. Shortly after entering the building we were welcomed by Shelly, who seemed eagar to help us find our way around the dealership. She started by introducing herself and asking if there was anything she could do for us. We told her we were just wanting to look at boots, and instead of just pointing or explaining where they were located she walked us over to the clothing department and introduced us to Alicia. Alicia was full of energy and enthusiasm. After skipping to find us the boots We needed she overheard My girlfriend and I discussing my problem with my perscription glasses, She informed me of a few different options, and explained the benefits of all of them. Not once did I feel pressured into purchasing anything, but Alicia seemed so knowledgeable my girlfriend bought a pair of the Ugly Fish sunglasses. "What made me a customer was not a motorcycle purchase, I bought my bike from another dealer about 50 miles away. I was looking at used bikes and pretty much had to go to the dealer that had the bike I wanted. I stopped in on a busy Sunday after I noticed my gear shift arm was coming loose and I didnt have any tools w/ me. I fully expected to have to make an appointment for service, but was impressed and pleasantly suprised when the service writer sent a tech out to the parking lot to fix the problem on the spot. They didnt even ask me for my name let alone if I had purchased the bike from them. Needless to say this small act showed me this dealership will go the extra mile for a customer. "I'd have to be mad at my money to purchase a bike from a shop other than Woodstock Harley Davidson. I'd have to be mad at my bike to let someone else work on it. I purchased a 2008 Ultra Classic brand new with 8 miles on it and have since put 50,000 miles on it in 2 seasons - 30,000 in 2008 and 20,000 in 2009. I will run this bike to 150,000 without blink'n. All other dealers can only hope to equal the way that this dealer supports their customers in service, parts and accessories and clothing. " A day at the races.
My son and i were going to the Fathers day hill limb on a sunday morning. I was pulling a trailer behind my 91 ultra classic and got past Wonderlake road and dumped the clutch at the light and i got that old familiar feeling! The rear belt broke! we coasted as fare as i could and sure enough i was right, the belt was hanging and we were stuck!
A few riders stopped and the last one was on his way to work at Woodstock Harley and he said he would come back with a truck and trailer! The bike and my trailer both fit in his trailer and we were off to the shop, and being sunday no Tech on duty
It being Fathers day, the shop had a one day free rental for consulation, bags or no bags? i said bags! i took it and let them service my motor and my son and i still made the hill climb over in Polo! I let all my bros know about it, they all came a looked at the new bike and told them Woodstock did me good!
That was one verry cool fathers day! i kept the bike for a few days while they serviced my belt. 11/27/2009"

"It was a pleasure for my wife Alicia and me to deal with the team of professionals at Woodstock Harley! Brad took time to answer Alicia's questions about the used Heritage Softail she purchased, and his professionalism was evident. When it came to ideas about accessories to dress up the bike, Tim quickly got the creative juices flowing to give the bike a personalized look. At the parts counter, Doug's help in finding some of the model specific parts and manuals we needed was greatly appreciated. To finish the whole process on a high note, Steve in service made sure the bike was ready to roll on time for our pick-up.
